Jammu Police have registered seven FIRs for violations of mandatory tenant verification norms as part of heightened security measures ahead of Republic Day.
According to officials, five FIRs were registered in Bathindi, while two FIRs were lodged in Channi Himmat against house owners who failed to comply with tenant verification guidelines.
Police said the drive is aimed at strengthening security and ensuring strict adherence to verification procedures, especially in sensitive localities. Authorities have once again urged property owners to complete tenant verification to avoid legal action and contribute to public safety.
