New Delhi, June 11: Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Shatrughan Sinha has firmly rejected speculation about leaving the party, reaffirming his loyalty to TMC chief Mamata Banerjee amid ongoing political turbulence within the party.
Speaking on Thursday, Sinha stated that he would not abandon Mamata Banerjee during a difficult period, emphasizing that she had supported him when he faced political challenges in the past. He said that loyalty and gratitude were important values, and therefore he had no intention of leaving the Trinamool Congress.
His remarks come at a time when the TMC is facing internal unrest, with several leaders and lawmakers either resigning or being linked to rebel groups. Reports of growing divisions within the party have fueled speculation about possible defections by senior leaders.
